Word Shift is a tile-swapping word game. To play, shift letters around the board to form words that cascade off and reveal new letters. Single-player speed and strategy modes set the tone of the word-making endeavor, to either frantic juggling or measured resource management. Multiplayer modes let you play around the same board as your friends, with each person playing from their own perspective.

The single-player modes let you play as far as your abilities go:
In solo Strategy Mode, you gain additional swaps for every word you make. Play strategically and you can keep going nearly forever.
In solo Speed Mode, you gain bonus time for each word you make. The faster you go, the longer you can keep making words.
In Hard Mode, you gain swaps and time for each word you make. Whenever either runs out, the game is over.

Solid game. Beautifully designed and a joy to play.
I like the freedom this game provides. As long as you have enough moves, you can swap letters from anywhere. I also like how you form combos when new letters enter the board. I can think of three things that could improve the experience: 1. Online play. 2. Add how scoring works to the tutorial section. Im getting these points and I dont know why! 3. Show personal high scores in- game so I can try to best my old scores.
This is a good game but I wish you could "submit" your words instead of the game automatically doing it for you. Also, can somebody tell me what the number in the circle at the top means? Is it number of moves left? Its shut down on me when I know there are still valid words on the board.
Fun and addictive. Very inventive take on a word game. Think crosswords mixed with bejeweled and dab of Tetris. Great game, recommended.
